Are the domain names www.blahblah.com and blahblah.com (no “www” prefix) the same or different?
Everyone is so quick to say they are the same. Evidently they don’t know how DNS works. If the www A record and the * A record are pointing to the same thing, then yes, they are the same (this is standard practice, so you can see how people would make this mistake), but it is just as easliy pointed somewhere else so that typing domain.com will take you to a different place than http://www.domain.com.
ofcourse they are same…
hi!!!
the name you suggest are same as you say http://www.yahoo.com and yahoo.com…. they both shows same things….
so please i request you to first checkit out yourself so that instead of asking such questions you will get the answer of your question yourself.
bye.
same
Some pages are the same and some not. Depends how they register their name on the Domain Name System.
If for example I register the name http://www.blalblah.com and http://blahblah.com to refair to the same IP adress ex.178.175.175 then are the same. if not then they aren’t the same. DNS read numbers not names, and give adresses the apropriate name.http://www.howstuffworks.com/dns.htm see here for details.
