Can Search Engines Separate Numbers In Domain Names?

For example, if I have a website about the ’09 Ford F-150, how would the search engines read my domain name if it were “F15009.com”?

    This is an interesting question.. search engine can separate numbers in the domain name. If you targeting to rank in search engine for “09 Ford F-150″ and “09 F-150″ keywords, I would suggest you to choose this domain.. “www.09fordf150.com” .
    The above suggested domain will rank better than the one with hypes for eg, “www.09-ford-f-150.com”

    You will need to separate the terms by a character like _ or -. Otherwise the numbers will get blended together. You can play around with the numbers as well. For example: http://www.my09f150.com or http://www.09-f150.com
