How Are Websites That Dont Pay A Web Hosting Fee Like Google , Yahoo Etc Created?

    They have their own Data centers full of 1000′s of servers. These huge sites use cluster servers. They pay for them of cause.

    Most of the time they really limit what you can do. You get a really bare bones web site and hosting. To get anything significant you should do pay hosting.

    Instead of paying a web host company to put their sites on a shared server like winninghosting.com or bluehost, companies like google and yahoo have their own servers that they manage and house in data centers. Also, instead of just one server for their site, they have 1000′s of servers running at the same time! It takes huge teams of programmers and administrators to keep those kinds of systems up and running.

    Umm, they page huge fees to host their web sites. Google spends hundreds of millions of dollars on connectivity, data centers, and the like.
