How To Upload A .htacess File To Yahoo Web-hosting Server?

I do upload it renaming a.htacess but while renaming it the server does not accept it. Is there any other method! I want to redirect few page to the url www.easygolife.biz.

  1. first of all I’m not sure about yahoo webhosting but some hosting providers don’t allow you to edit the .htaccess file.
    just incase you have spelt it incorrectly
    instead of .htacess enter .htaccess as the file name instead
    I dont know but if you contact yahoo maybe they will do it for you if you dont have access to it.
    If that doesnt work you could redirect using a meta refresh
    stick this in between the head tags

    content=”0; /*change that number for to the amount of seconds you would like it to take to redirect
    There are other methods as well but I’ll just give you this one just now hopefully it will do as it’s a pretty simple way at least untill you have sorted it all out.
