I got a call from someone stating that he represented a company that produced editing software and they were creating product names and then searching to see if they already existed. I had a website, now defunct, that bore a name they wanted to use. I still own the domain name. They offered $250 for me to turn it over to them. No problem, but what sorts of things should I know in order to be sure it’s a legitimate deal and I’ll actually get a check? What would you do?

I am the IT administrator of a company. We are getting loads of junk emails. And I have to get the domain name of each email it is coming from and then block them separately. Every day I end up blocking 100′s of email, going through each of them individually and get the domain name. Is there is any small piece of program that I can run on the spam emails just to get the domain name and put them together in a txt or xls file. In this way my job will be much more easier.
Or any other ideas to deal with the junk emails.

How Do I Forward A Purchased Domain Name Email From Yahoo To An Email From Gmail?
January 19th, 2010i recently got a gmail account. i have a domain name i bought from yahoo and it came with an optional email addy. i want to be able to forward that email to my gmail account instead of it forwarding to my yahoo account. is there a way to make this happen?

January 17th, 2010does yahoo allow us to sign up for email adresses that have a domain name before the “@yahoo.com” like “mydomain.com @ yahoo.com”. reason i ask is i tried to do that, but the yahoo free sign up form states that it is unavailable on several of my domain names, so eitther yahoo does not allow one to register such a name with a “.com, .net or .org” in it, or someone else has registered my domain names as the prefixes before the “@yahoo.com”. i need to know what yahoo’s policies are about this. do they or do they not allow for domain addresses as i have stated here as email addresses? .
